Lesson's Learnt

Several,  don't leave on a whim, but sometimes it pays just to

go for it otherwise, too much planning and not enough doing!

Weld the airfilter bolts captive in box, it will

save you 30mins each time and it is a lot easier

to line up the carburetor air ducting.

This sort of bike has had a notorious past when it

comes to Alternators, so I should have taken the

battery charger with me on day 1. The spare battery

in the sidecar boot may have been a good idea also.
